First Things First.

Clean Spyware and Viruses + Optimize Windows XP to improve performance safely. Windows XP's default configuration is far from optimized. This blog will help you improve your overall system performance, without having you to manually edit the Registry. I do not recommend using an "all-in-one" Windows XP Tweak programs since many of them just blindly adjust settings that do not have effect on performance and could cause problems in the future. This steps are designd to be folowed from top to bottom, in sequence since some steps are required to be performed before others. Before using this guide make sure your system meets the Windows XP System Requirements.

Notes: Read and Follow the instructions Carefully. This blog was not designed to be used in combination with other Windows tweaking guides or other Windows tweaking applications. It is also not designed to be used in parts. If you already have SP2 installed continue on to Step 1, if not you have to install service SP2, for better performance.
